Life has been sucking a bit lately, but there are bright sides to most of it, unexpected silver linings and whatnot.  Sometimes you find that getting rid of something, gets you dividends you did not expect.

I had a great time partying and just hanging out with Stanley this weekend.  My Souper Salad really needs a fireplace so it can become the gathering place again.. or I need to get to be really *good* friends with a manager at a la Madeleine here in Austin. 

I think the most fun I had at the party on Saturday was toying with an English major.  She was getting haughty and mentioned that she would "... correct your bad and incorrect grammar."  I replied her statement was a tad redundant (just for giggles).  Seems that makes me a smart @$$.  :)   Who knew?

Today cost me too much... both car related expenses...

First was a really bs red light ticket.

I was making a left turn and the cars in front of me slowed to the point that I was still in the intersection when it turned red.  I was taking Blake to school cause it was cold.  Not dealing with morning traffic anymore.  I suppose that's the only advantage to restaurant work hours, I never really hit rush hour traffic except perhaps coming home from an opening shift, which as I have it, is usually on Saturdays. 

Second was buying tires and having them mounted to my wheels I've had sitting waiting for awhile.  Pretty pic below.

Also, it seems Blake hasn't put up the pics of the Pumpkins of the Kama Sutra.  I'll put up a pic of mine, but I'll let him resize and post the rest, I'm too lazy after KFC was brought home.

Gives new meaning to Jack-o-lantern...

Right now, I think I'll go throw out the pumpkins, as they are already getting nasty.. eeewwe.
